Ingredient
1 pound of ground turkey
1 14 oz can of stewed tomatoes
1 6 oz can of tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/4 oregano
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 package of spinach pasta
Cook pasta according to package.
In a skillet put the olive oil and turkey, start the cooking process. About half way through I add the seasonings so they infuse with the meat. Make sure you cook the turkey thoroughly.
Add the stewed tomatoes and tomato paste over medium heat, mix well.
Blend in the sugar, salt and pepper.
Put on the lid and simmer for about 20 minutes on low.
I serve this with shredded Parmesan cheese as an topping.
